How A Healthy Morning Can Give You Results

Do you ever wonder how really fit and healthy people stay fit and healthy for long term? They must be so disciplined right. You’re thinking that you can never be that way because you don’t have the amount of will power they do so what is the point of even trying?

Let us ask you this? Do you believe that there are people in the world that are just like you, are in the same situation you are and have the results you want? Absolutely there is! They have the knowledge you need. You just need to figure out what it is. That being said, we want to introduce to you “The Pareto Principle” which is that 80% of your results comes from 20% of what you do. Now, why is this important and how does this tie into a healthy morning? Well, if you start your day by doing something healthy then it will lead to the rest of your day being healthy.

That healthy morning start, which is the 20%, can give you that 80% which is eating better through the day and being more active. Think about it, have you ever had days where you feel rushed or stressed and ruins the rest of your day, things just don’t go your way no matter what happens? Exactly.

Your mornings are sacred and they have the power to interpret how your whole day will go. If you can control your morning then you will be able to control your day, your week, your month etc. Imagine what you can do in a year if you apply these simple things we are about to share with you. What can you accomplish in a year?

So here they are…

1. Hydrate and eat your breakfast

Your body needs fuel after a long night’s rest. It has not consumed anything so it’s needs proper nutrition for it to work efficiently so you can accomplish what it is you set out to do that day.

Start with a tall glass of water right when you wake up and as for food, eat what is most convenient but stay away from processed foods. We recommend some fruit. For protein, perhaps some eggs and if you don’t have time in the morning then next time you can boil some the night before. You can even make a protein shake rich with fruits and veggies. This only takes about 5 mins in the morning but the preparation has to be done the night before if you know you will be in a rush.

Always make it easy in the morning.

2. Movement - could be short workout/stretch

Your body is meant to move in the morning. Way back in the caveman days, we get up very early to hunt for our food because if not then we don’t eat. Our bodies are supposed to release a hormone called “cortisol” in the morning to help us wake up and get moving. We say “supposed to” because it can be changed depending on our sleep cycle but that is a story is for another day.

Another reason to get your body moving in the morning is to get your brain fired up. We need to use our brains in order for us to move and it is the same the other way around. Now you see the importance of movement? Move your body, fire up your brain then conquer your day.

Your movement does not have to be anything complicated. It can be stretching or performing yoga exercises in your living. It can be a full workout routine in the gym or it can simply be a brisk walk around your neighbourhood. Just move.

3. Focus on the what’s good on your life

If you don’t keep a journal then we recommend you start now. Anyone who is truly successful in anything have their minds focused on the prize. You surrounding is constantly showing you why you can’t do something and when you focus on that then you quit. Starting a journal doesn’t have to be hard. You don’t have to write an essay every-time you log in. The purpose of it is to keep your mind and your eyes on where you want to go.

It is really simple, you start by writing your goal and writing down 3 things you are truly grateful for. The trick to writing down your gratitudes is to think about what your life if you didn’t have the things you have now like your home, your money or your family.

Now, it may sound cheesy but if you really do it you will find it is challenging. Most of the time we don’t know what are goal is and we just go. Think about it, what is your goal? Now if it doesn’t excite and scare you at the same time then it’s not your real goal. It has to do both so dig deep and find what your goal is then write it down everyday.

It’s not easy but it is simple. All you need is 20% effort to get you that 80% result. Follow the steps we have laid out for you and we promise your life will start to look brighter.

Make it a 30 day challenge. Do it for 30 days and if you miss a day then you have to start all over. To reach your goal you need momentum and consistency. Now go get it.
