3 Underrated Tips to Conquer Your Morning to Win Your Day

You have bad days and you have a good days. But most of the time you have bad days and you have no idea how to control them or why they happen.


If you read this blog all the way to the end you’ll find out how you can keep having great days consistently every single week. You will learn the proper steps in structuring your morning so you can win your day. However, if you don’t read all the way you may lose out on the secrets on how to have a great week so you can finally feel Like you’re moving forward with your goals. For the rest of your life you may think that things are happening to you and you will never have control over what you want to happen.


Why is it on Fridays we have great days and starting Monday or even on Sunday are they start to go down. You may think it‘s

because it is the start of a new work week, you are partially right. You know what I’m talking about but you are choosing to ignore it.


I know you’re feeling it, Stress. Especially on the start of a new week and it is because your focus is not where you want it to be.You may think it is because of how you sleep, what you eat or the fact that you are not consistent with your exercises. That is only half of the problem, the other half is even more important.


You see, if you’re reading this blog because you want to be healthier and All you could think about is what is the best diet or exercise program. Which method can you get me to my go faster. Well I’m here to tell you the truth, which is if you focus on tactics and strategies before getting your head straight then you are going down a difficult path. Think about it for a second, if you are stressed out five days out of the week this will leave you paralyzed. You won’t do what it is you need to do in order to reach your goal. The flipside to that coin is when you feel relaxed and calm you were actually want to do more and be more. This is because you have a lot of space in your mind when you have space in your mind you have a room do you think. You have room to think about positive things in what you want to happen instead of what you don’t want to happen. Don’t you agree? Most of the time we are thinking about what you don’t want to do. You resist the work, did you know resisting actually makes you even more tired?


The first step is to handle your mind and manage your stress. Nutrition and exercise are actually easy when you have time and little to no stress. Even LeBron James invests over $1 million in body care every single year because he knows how important it is to rid of stress for his body to recover so he can perform to his full potential.


Before I give you the three tips you can start with I have to ask you a question, do you think it’s important to manage your stress and focus on your recovery? I’ll leave that to you to answer.

By the way, rest and recovery doesn’t just happen at night but it starts in the morning. Here is a secret, if you can win your morning then you can win your day. Here is another secret if you can win your Monday you can win your week. The reason why is because Monday is the hardest day of the week and if you can conquer the hardest day of the week then the rest of the days will feel a little bit easier.


Like I said, these tips or under rated and you may read them thinking I already know this. Just because you know this doesn’t mean you do this. Knowing it’s not enough you must apply because only action will get you to your goal. No amount of thinking is going to make it happen for you.


1.Hydrate


Yes, hydrate. You’re probably thinking I’m about to say drink eight glasses of water, yes you should be drinking 8 glasses of water a day but here’s an even more important piece. You should drink two glasses of water right in the morning. This is because when you were sleeping for 7,8 or even 9 hours you get dehydrated and your body needs water to function. Think of water in your body like electricity for your home. If you do not have electricity in your home nothing will work.


Action step: Drink 2 glasses of water right when you wake up in the morning.


2. Move

When I say move, what I mean is exercising, stretching or even just walk going for a walk. You want to do this right in the morning as well. Think of it like starting your car and letting it heat up specially during the winter time. Moving promotes blood flow in your body and you need blood flow for your body to function well to get your whole system online.


Blood flow helps with optimal brain function. When your brain us up and running so will your body. You can either wait until the of the day to be functioning at your best or the start of the day? I suggest the latter.

Action step: Go for a walk or perform a 5 min workout.


3. Be selective of where you give your attention ”Where attention goes, energy flows”. Part of the reason why you feel busy is because you go straight into focusing on other people’s lives instead of your own. Don‘t know what I’m talking about? Well, you go straight to you phone to check messages, emails or scroll through social media. Non of that is going to help with your mindset in the morning. Do you agree that you need to help yourself first before you can help others? Do you believe if you are not mentally strong then you cannot help others properly? Exactly. It may sound selfish but you need to take care of “you first”.
